The family of five has long been living happily in Canada. However, a recent Weibo trending topic claiming that “Hong Kong media reported Linda Chung filed a lawsuit against her husband in Canada” suddenly sparked speculation about marital trouble.
Linda quickly denied the rumor but admitted that all marriages face challenges. “It’s the hardships that build resilience,” she said. She later posted family photos of decorating their Christmas tree with hashtags #OurFamilyofFive and #familylove, though Jeremy appeared only partially in the frame, reigniting speculation. On the 20th, she seemed to respond again through another post.
In her latest IG update, Linda shared new photos of herself wearing a white dress, looking youthful despite being a mother of three. Her caption read: “Learn to smile it off, face everything with calmness; forgive the people around you, grow stronger through compassion, walk your own path, and live your own life.” Many interpreted this as addressing the ongoing rumors.
The marriage speculation even trended on Weibo. Linda previously said that working in the entertainment industry inevitably brings gossip and that everyone has the right to speak, but she prefers focusing on her family and work. She also praised her husband as “110 points,” noting that he gave up hobbies like ice skating and golf after marriage to spend more time with the family.
December 25 marks their 10th anniversary. Linda shared that maintaining a ten-year marriage is precious: “Every year is something to be grateful for. Not everyone gets this far, but our relationship has grown stronger. What needed to be adjusted has already been adjusted.” She said every marriage must weather storms — “Challenges build resilience.” Their toughest period, she said, was after their first child was born: “A child changes everything, and you must relearn how to communicate and share responsibilities.”
As for celebrations, she said the family will spend Christmas together, and she and Jeremy plan to take a short trip in February. “We can’t bear to leave the kids too long, so probably three or four days. The destination is up to him.”
