(Hong Kong, 28th) News Queen 2 continues to air, and in the latest episode, “Fei-Ye” Yu Yingfei (Kenneth Tang) makes a hilarious return, holding his favorite bubble tea with a triumphant grin.
This season sees a major reversal in his relationship with Man姐 (Man姐, played by Wendy Wen). In the previous season, Fei-Ye was her boss and Man姐 disliked him; now, as the head of the public platform, Man姐 invites Fei-Ye to serve as the news director.
During a conversation, Man姐 admits she finally understands Fei-Ye’s past managerial challenges: “Now that I’m in this position, I realize you had to look at the bigger picture, manage the company, and couldn’t risk safety or morale for a single news story.”
Fei-Ye humorously replies, “Big girl, now you know I’m not useless. That’s comforting.”
Fans were delighted by his return, laughing at his continuing love for bubble tea. Netizens also noted that he shows more responsibility this season—immediately helping Man姐 handle a PR crisis instead of avoiding it.
Comments online included: “The boss-subordinate scenes are really fun,” “Fei-Ye studied media and has been a war correspondent—he’s got the skills,” and “He’s really responsible this season.”
Kenneth Tang has proven himself both on and off screen. Over 20 years, he has brought every role to life. Even before graduating from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts in 2005, he had made a name in theater. Joining TVB in 2017, he gained major popularity in 2022 with Low-Class Taxi Riders as Guan Xixiao, earning his first award nomination and Best Supporting Actor win.
