On December 5 (Beijing time), the Golden State Warriors were hit with yet another major setback. With Stephen Curry and Jimmy Butler already out due to injuries, Draymond Green played just nine minutes before exiting the game with a right foot injury, marking the Warriors’ third core player sidelined.
The Warriors have been struck hard by injuries recently.
Curry is out for an extended period with a quadriceps injury.
Butler injured his knee in the previous game, and his return date remains uncertain.
Touhy is also still on the injury list, leaving the Warriors extremely short-handed.
Although De’Anthony Melton made his season debut tonight, the good news didn’t last long. During a tough scramble in the first half, Green landed awkwardly after contact and felt discomfort in his right foot. He went straight to the locker room, and the Warriors later officially ruled him out for the remainder of the game. Davis started in his place in the second half.
