(Taipei, 28th) Mayday frontman Ashin recently took a tumble off the stage during the “F✦FOREVER Stellar City” concert in Shanghai, where he appeared alongside F4 members Jerry Yan, Vanness Wu, and Vic Chou. He later reassured fans that he was fine, though many were still worried. On Saturday (27th), he quickly returned to Mayday’s lineup and performed at Taichung Intercontinental Baseball Stadium in high spirits. Near the end of the show, while singing “Fool,” he brought up the incident himself—then joked that some of the teasing messages he received came from his own bandmates, admitting, “I’m very disappointed.”
Local reports noted that his left hand still showed signs of bandaging from the fall. Ashin quipped, “The most special thing in 2025 is that, for the first time in 25 years, I fell into a hole on stage.” He said he was so startled afterward that he kept asking whether he had finished the set properly, and staff reassured him he sang well. He also recalled opening his eyes to see three “handsome faces” leaning over him, joking that some fans might be envious—“but don’t trade your life for it.”
Backstage, Ashin found his phone flooded with more than 200 messages from old friends and fellow artists checking in. He then pivoted to a punchline: among them, only four messages were laughing at him—before turning to the four Mayday bandmates behind him. Moments later, he grew emotional, saying those same bandmates were the ones who believed he would get back up, smile, and finish the show. He ended by telling the crowd, “I’m back—I’m home,” asking fans to respond with the loudest support.
