On January 27, the Beckham family made a collective appearance at Paris Fashion Week, marking the first public outing since eldest son Brooklyn publicly clashed with his parents.
On January 19, Brooklyn posted a six-page statement accusing his parents of controlling his life, interfering with his marriage, forcing him to sign a name usage agreement, and even canceling the wedding dress prepared for his wife Nicola on the eve of their wedding. The revelation drew widespread attention.
A week later, the family attended Paris together, including David and Victoria Beckham, sons Romeo and Cruz, and 14-year-old daughter Harper. The official purpose of the visit was Victoria receiving France’s Order of Arts and Letters, honoring her contributions to the fashion industry.
Notably, 23-year-old Romeo attended with his girlfriend Kim Turnbull, while 21-year-old Cruz was accompanied by his music artist girlfriend Jackie Apostel, who is nine years his senior. Both girlfriends appeared in the family photo shared by Victoria, subtly rebutting rumors of family exclusion and showcasing the Beckham family’s unity.
When asked about Brooklyn, David and Victoria remained silent, declining to comment, keeping the focus on the family’s public appearance and Victoria’s accolade.
