The 18th round of the Saudi Pro League concluded overnight, shaking up the standings. Defending champions Al-Ittihad were held 2-2 by Al-Hasa, while leaders Al-Nassr drew 2-2 away to Al-Khabeer Qudaisiya. Meanwhile, Al-Riyadh Youths cruised to a 4-0 away victory over Hassam.
Al-Nassr now has 46 points, just six ahead of Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al-Wehda, who have played one game fewer. A win this round could narrow the gap to three points, boosting C Ronaldo’s title hopes. Al-Khabeer Qudaisiya, after holding the leaders, sit at 40 points, closing in on Al-Wehda. Al-Ittihad remains at 31 points, nine behind Al-Wehda, while Al-Hasa sits 9th with 22 points. Al-Riyadh Youths climb to 16 points, five clear of the relegation zone; Hassam remains 12th with 20 points.
On the top scorer chart, Ronaldo faces stiff competition, as Toni and Quinones have overtaken him, intensifying the race for the golden boot.
