On February 6, Fast Technology reported that Qwen rolled out its “Split 3 Billion” Lunar New Year campaign for Spring Festival 2026. In the first wave, the “2 Billion Free-Order Card” allows users to claim a RMB 25 no-minimum voucher with a simple command—making it possible to buy milk tea for as little as RMB 0.01.

Users only need to update the Qwen app to the latest version to receive one RMB 25 free-order card. The voucher can be used at more than 300,000 milk tea stores nationwide, including popular brands such as HEYTEA, Nayuki, Luckin Coffee, 1point3, and Guming.

According to multiple media reports, Qwen’s New Year milk tea giveaway triggered a sharp surge in traffic within a short period of time this morning. Some milk tea shops reportedly chose to close temporarily due to overwhelming order volumes.

On social media, many users shared screenshots of their chats with delivery riders, as riders appeared to compete aggressively to secure orders. Some riders even ended up delivering two drinks after grabbing more orders than expected. One user joked that “what I drink today depends entirely on what my rider managed to grab for me.”

Qwen’s official figures show just how intense the response has been. After the “Spring Festival 3 Billion Free-Order” campaign launched, the platform recorded more than 10 million AI-powered orders on the Qwen app in only nine hours—fueling a wave of AI-driven shopping. Qwen also said that today alone, users have already issued “help me buy” commands more than 30 million times within the app.
