Kuai Technology reported on February 8 that the Avatr 06T is a brand-new model under Avatr’s Strategic Cooperation 2.0 with Huawei Qiankun. It will be among the first vehicles to debut Huawei’s next-generation LiDAR, and it also marks the first shooting-brake model in the Avatr lineup.

Avatr has recently released the 06T’s core specifications, highlighting the vehicle’s positioning as an “intelligent, aesthetic, all-scenario sport sedan” with an original design language and a crossover-inspired stance.

In terms of dimensions, the Avatr 06T measures 4,940 mm in length, 1,960 mm in width, and 1,475 mm in height, with a 2,940 mm wheelbase.

Compared with the Avatr 06’s 4,855 mm body length, the 06T is notably longer. This extension also enhances the rear shooting-brake cargo area, strengthening overall loading practicality.

On the performance side, the entire lineup comes standard with distributed left-right dual-drive technology. The all-electric AWD tri-motor variant delivers peak outputs of 210 kW (front) and 251 kW (rear left) + 251 kW (rear right), combining for an impressive 712 kW in total—equivalent to approximately 968 horsepower.

For the all-electric RWD configuration, the 06T adopts a dual-motor setup at the rear, rated at 251 kW (rear left) and 251 kW (rear right).

Like other models in the Avatr family, the 06T will be offered in both range-extender (EREV) and pure electric (BEV) powertrains.

For the range-extender version, CATL batteries are standard across the board, including a 45.06 kWh Xiaoyao “Super Range-Extended Hybrid” battery pack. Under the CLTC cycle, the pure-electric driving range exceeds 330 km.

For the pure electric version, Avatr adds an 89.33 kWh Shenxing ultra-fast-charging battery, delivering a CLTC range of over 740 km.

The new model is expected to launch in the first quarter, where it will compete directly with shooting-brake and sporty wagon-style rivals such as the Zeekr 001, Denza Z9GT, Stelato S9T, and NIO ET5 Touring.

Keep a little curiosity for the next story.
