(Hollywood, 13th) Chris Hemsworth and Mark Ruffalo recently attended the premiere of their new film Crime 101. The event turned playful when Hemsworth jokingly claimed that Ruffalo is the real “outlaw” — not just on screen.
With several high-speed chase scenes in the movie, Hemsworth, who plays a master thief, teased that the true daredevil is actually Ruffalo’s character — a detective. Taking the joke in stride, Ruffalo theatrically looked around as if checking for police nearby before sharing a rebellious story from his younger days.
Ruffalo admitted that he spent a long period driving without a valid license, including continuing to drive even after his license had been suspended. He added that the constant stress eventually caught up with him, and it was his wife who pushed him to finally deal with the situation properly.
Now, Ruffalo joked, he’s become one of the most law-abiding drivers in Los Angeles — simply because he no longer wants to live with that kind of anxiety.
