(Kuala Lumpur, 19th) Hong Kong feng shui master So Man Fung has publicly refuted circulating claims that he labeled Malaysia as a “Five Yellow disaster zone” and advised Hong Kong travelers to avoid visiting. He stressed that such reports are completely fabricated and constitute “fake news.”
According to earlier reports, a local article citing foreign sources claimed that So had released travel feng shui predictions for 2026, suggesting that popular destinations like Malaysia and Thailand should be avoided, while recommending places such as Singapore, Vietnam, Taiwan, and southern Japan.
In response, So took to social media, emphatically denying the claims by repeatedly stating they were “false.” He clarified that he had never given such an interview nor made any related predictions, adding that any similar reports should also be considered untrue.
The misleading article has since been removed, prompting renewed discussion about media credibility and misinformation.
