Xiaomi has officially launched the Mijia Sweeping and Mopping Robot 5C, now available on JD.com and other platforms, bringing a new level of precision and convenience to home cleaning. Featuring an innovative ultra-extended edge cleaning design, it comes in two versions – a standard water-tank model and a slim built-in water-inlet/outlet version – priced at ¥2,199 (¥2,049 after coupon) and ¥2,699 (¥2,549 after coupon) respectively.

The Mijia 5C is engineered to clean where others can’t. Its ultra-extended edge design reaches deep into floor gaps and under tight spaces such as beneath refrigerators, door crevices, wardrobes, and beds. The mop automatically adjusts to dynamically hug edges and spins at high speed, mimicking hand-scrubbing action. When paired with everyday floor cleaning solutions, it can also help reduce bacterial growth on floors.
Smart Navigation with Powerful Performance
Equipped with a 129° wide-angle laser sensor, the robot detects and avoids obstacles with ease, even sensing low-lying objects. It intelligently maps and plans cleaning routes, while its mop can lift automatically when not in mopping mode – preventing carpets and rugs from getting wet. The high-performance fan delivers up to 15,000Pa suction power, easily removing dust, hair, and fine debris, achieving a 99% floor particle removal rate.

With full integration into the Mi Home App, users can schedule cleanings, set virtual no-go zones, start cleaning remotely, and even assign specific rooms to clean. You can customize dust collection frequency, mop preferences, and carpet cleaning modes. Thanks to Xiaomi HyperConnect, the robot can also link with other smart home devices like door locks and air purifiers. Once set up, it can automatically start cleaning the moment you leave home.
