Former NBA star and CBA icon Stephon Marbury recently attended the New York Knicks’ 123–111 victory over the Los Angeles Clippers, enjoying the game alongside his wife.
On social media, Marbury shared photos from the night and posted a heartfelt message: “Some love can’t be explained with words. When respect runs that deep, it elevates you to a place where love is no longer just a feeling—it becomes the air you breathe.”
Marbury enjoyed a notable NBA career, playing for the New Jersey Nets (now the Brooklyn Nets), Phoenix Suns, New York Knicks, and Boston Celtics. Along the way, he earned two NBA All-Star selections and was named twice to the All-NBA Third Team.
He later became a legend in the CBA with the Beijing Ducks, helping the club capture three league titles in 2012, 2014, and 2015. Marbury was also selected to the CBA All-Star team six times, and in 2015 he achieved a rare sweep—winning Regular Season MVP, All-Star Game MVP, and Finals MVP. He officially retired in 2018.
In 2019, Marbury transitioned into coaching and took charge of the Beijing Royal Fighters. On September 9, 2023, the club announced that he would no longer continue in the head coach role.
Off the court, Marbury’s personal life has been just as uplifting. In April 2025, he proudly announced that he had become a “Chinese son-in-law,” specifically emphasizing his connection to Wuhan. His wife, Wang Yuling, is a former singer from a well-known singing competition, and the couple continues to share their joy openly—radiating happiness that feels unmistakable even through the screen.
