(Kuala Lumpur, 12th) Sunway (SUNWAY, 5211) and IJM Corporation (IJM, 3336) both announced a trading halt this morning, pending a major announcement.
The two companies said trading in their shares would be suspended for one day with effect from market open, and all related warrants were also suspended at the same time.
Market speculation has previously suggested that Sunway and IJM may be exploring a potential merger to form a larger construction and engineering group.
