On January 21, automotive media CarScoops shared spy photos of the mid-cycle facelift prototype of the Mercedes-AMG SL, currently undergoing winter testing.
Since its release in fall 2021, the AMG SL has been on the market for nearly four years. The prototype’s front end remains heavily camouflaged, but the tri-star headlights are visible, along with a larger grille, redesigned front bumper, front lip, and air intakes.
Powertrain options are expected to remain unchanged, including a 416-hp 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine and a plug-in hybrid V8 system producing 805 hp.
