(Seoul, Feb 2) — South Korean rock band FTISLAND recently held a concert in Goyang, but an unexpected incident occurred during the show when drummer Choi Min-hwan reportedly collapsed after feeling unwell, alarming fans in attendance. The group’s agency later issued a statement addressing the situation.
According to Korean media reports, FNC Entertainment confirmed in an official announcement that Choi’s condition forced the concert to be paused mid-performance.
The statement explained that Choi experienced a brief episode of dehydration and was not physically able to continue with the remaining stages. The agency also noted that professional medical staff were already on standby at the venue and responded immediately when the incident occurred.
After evaluation by the medical team, Choi was confirmed to be in stable condition, with no major health issues found, and concerns about serious illness have been ruled out. The company added that he will take time to rest and recover, while staff continue to monitor his progress.
