Malaysian independent shuttler Lee Zii Jia celebrated his 28th birthday with close friends including Lai Pei Jing, Goh Jin Wei, and singer Zhang Qi Zheng at a Korean BBQ gathering.
A heartfelt message shared by Zhang encouraged embracing life’s ups and downs and focusing on simple well-being.
After recovering from injury, Lee is gradually regaining form, with his world ranking climbing back to around top 80. He has also agreed to represent Malaysia at the upcoming Thomas Cup in Denmark, even waiving image rights fees as a sign of commitment.
He is expected to play as the second or third singles, carrying key responsibilities for the team.
