(Beijing, March 31) Chinese singer Shan Yichun recently came under public scrutiny after performing Li Ronghao’s song “Li Bai” without authorization during her concert in Shenzhen, prompting direct criticism from the original artist. The incident quickly gained widespread attention across social platforms.

Following the controversy, Shan issued a second public apology and announced full refunds for upcoming concert stops in an effort to address concerns and restore public confidence. On March 30, she confirmed that the Wuhan and Zhengzhou shows will offer full refund options within 48 hours. Ticket holders may process refunds between March 31 and April 2 without any service fees.

According to the official statement, the issue stemmed from a lapse in copyright clearance procedures. Shan also pledged to cease performing “Li Bai” and to take full responsibility, including any necessary compensation.
