On November 5, Audio-Technica officially announced the Chinese release of its next-generation flagship true wireless earbuds — the ATH-TWX9MK2, available in both black and white for ¥1,880.
Designed to combine high-resolution sound quality, intelligent noise cancellation, and elegant business aesthetics, the TWX9MK2 delivers a truly immersive audio experience.
At its core lies the newly developed Pure Motion Driver, featuring a hybrid diaphragm structure:
- The beryllium-coated rigid dome ensures crystal-clear high frequencies.
- The PU polyurethane outer dome enhances bass elasticity and depth.
This dual-layer design improves transient response, resulting in brighter, more detailed sound.
The ATH-TWX9MK2 employs an external magnetic circuit for uniform magnetic distribution and increased driver efficiency. A thin stainless-steel housing further enhances sound density and performance.
Audio-Technica has also integrated a floating voice coil and Sefar metal acoustic mesh, optimizing airflow and pressure balance to achieve well-balanced tones and stable noise cancellation.
Powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon Sound, the earbuds support aptX Adaptive and aptX Voice, with cVc 8.0 noise reduction for crystal-clear calls. Each earbud features dual MEMS microphones with beamforming technology for precise voice capture.
Key highlights include:
- IPX4 water resistance
- Bluetooth 5.2 with multi-point pairing
- Up to 6 hours playback (ANC on), total 18.5 hours with charging case
- Wireless charging and deep UV sterilization case
The ATH-TWX9MK2 is not just another TWS — it’s a statement of precision, performance, and premium craftsmanship from Audio-Technica.
