Former BINGO member Odilia Chan, 34, announces departure from TVB after contract ends
Former girl group BINGO member Odilia Chan, 34, announced yesterday (20th) on social media that her contract with TVB has officially ended and she is now a free agent. Posting a portrait of herself, she wrote:
“Bye TVB, my contract’s up! I’m a free agent now, feel free to contact me for shoots and work.”
Odilia joined TVB in 2021 and gained public recognition through the dance competition show “Dance for Life”, where her humble attitude and strong skills earned her a spot on Michael Mok’s team. However, she once faced criticism when netizens discovered she had previously appeared on ViuTV programs but kept that experience in her bio, sparking accusations of “switching sides.”
Before joining TVB, Odilia had already built solid performing experience. She trained in ballet for 13 years, performed as a backup dancer for major stars such as Ekin Cheng, Alan Tam, and Paula Tsui, and achieved piano performance-level certification. She also made cameo appearances in dramas like “Come Home Love,” “Forensic Heroes IV,” “Sinister Beings,” as well as the film “All’s Well, Ends Well 2020.”
Now that she has officially regained her freedom, many fans left messages of support, expressing excitement for her next chapter.
