(Hong Kong, 18th) TVB anniversary drama The Queen of News 2 aired its two-hour finale on Monday night (15th). The final episodes focused on key plotlines including the battle over SNK shares, the transnational scam syndicate “3U Park,” and the ultimate revelation of the truth behind “George’s death.” Ahead of the finale, lead actress Charmaine Sheh, who plays “Sister Man,” took to Instagram to share her thoughts, drawing supportive messages from netizens and fellow cast members.

Charmaine posted several photos on Instagram with the drama’s chief producer Chung Shu-kai and other cast members, writing:
“Blink and ‘The Queen of News 2’ will reach its finale tomorrow night. Although many people have told me they’ve already finished watching it online, for me, it’s still an ending (or maybe just a temporary farewell—who knows). Suddenly, I feel an indescribable sense of reluctance. Is it that I can’t bear to part with Sister Man, or with the producers who stayed up late every night working on the scripts, or the anchor desk, or the group of partners I’ve worked with for so long? Even I can’t quite tell. All I can do is turn this reluctance into heartfelt blessings—may everyone I’ve worked with hold on to their original passion as actors, continue striving toward your dreams, and bring even better works to audiences. See you tomorrow night. #TheQueenOfNews2”

Following the post, many viewers expressed their reluctance to say goodbye and their hopes for a sequel. Numerous cast members also left heartfelt messages, including:

  • Kalok Chow: “I’ll always remember Sister Man’s kindness.”
  • Tse Wai Kit: “Looking forward to meeting you again, discussing how to report the news, and showcasing journalism at its best.”
  • Hedwig Tam: “Love you, Sister Man.”
  • Carman Kwan: “Love you, Sister Man. We’ll continue chasing our dreams.”
  • Louis Cheung Tin Cheung: “So happy to have worked with Sister Man! I secretly learned so much from you. As a fan, my dream has come true.”
  • Yiu Wang Yuen: “Once a member of the ‘Man Team,’ always a member.”
