(Seoul, Feb 15) Kim Gyeon-woo, a member of the Korean audition-born boy group “ALPHA DRIVE ONE” (ALD1), has come under public scrutiny following allegations related to his personal conduct. Several individuals on social media who claim to be staff from Korea’s major broadcasters (MBC, KBS, and SBS) alleged that Kim showed poor attitude at work and made inappropriate remarks toward production crews, sparking debate about his professionalism and character.
One post claimed that during the filming of KBS’s variety show 2 Days & 1 Night, Kim lost his temper and displayed frustration toward staff. Others alleged he acted coldly and ignored crew members while sharing an elevator with other group members.
A person identifying herself as a female staff member further claimed she was insulted with body-shaming language and was unfairly blamed over a prop-related issue, leaving her feeling distressed.
The allegations have triggered strong reactions online. While many expressed dissatisfaction, some users cautioned that the posts could involve exaggeration or smear attempts and urged the public to wait for further clarification. Some self-identified industry observers also claimed such rumors have circulated previously.
As of now, Kim’s agency has not issued a public response.
