(Hong Kong, 19th) Golden Horse-winning actress Angelica Lee recently appeared at a film event in Hong Kong. She has been rumored to join the Chinese reality show Sisters Who Make Waves 7, sparking widespread speculation.
When asked whether her participation was confirmed, Lee responded cautiously, saying, “Please wait for the official announcement.” While she acknowledged being aware of the rumors, she declined to provide further details—fueling anticipation.
Lee, who began her career as a singer before transitioning into acting, said singing would not be a challenge, but performing in a girl group format would be entirely new to her. “I’ve never done group dancing like that before. If I join, it will be a major breakthrough for me,” she shared.
She also spoke about actress Maggie Cheung, whom she considers a lifelong idol. She revealed that watching Center Stage inspired her to pursue acting, and expressed her eagerness to collaborate if given the opportunity.
A rumored lineup circulating online includes Lee alongside Taiwanese stars such as Christine Fan, Stephanie Hsiao, Pets Tseng, Jill Hsu, and Jessie Chiang, though the list remains unconfirmed.
