Financial Associated Press, May 14 — According to data from the Commission on Elections of the Philippines, over 97% of the votes have been counted in the country's midterm elections. The results show that the camp of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. secured only 6 out of the 12 contested Senate seats, falling short of expectations. The opposition camp led by former President Rodrigo Duterte won 5 seats. The remaining 2 seats were claimed by other parties.
