What was supposed to be a romantic concert turned into a legal drama when the Kiss Cam at a Coldplay concert in Boston accidentally caught tech CEO Andy Bryon kissing HR director Kristen Cabot—who isn’t his wife.
The viral video exposed their alleged affair and led to Bryon's resignation. According to media reports, Bryon is now considering legal action against Coldplay and lead singer Chris Martin, accusing them of humiliating him publicly without consent and making jokes about the situation.
Bryon’s net worth is estimated between $20 million and $70 million. With his resignation, financial losses are likely, and if a divorce follows—especially without a prenup—his fortune could be at risk.
However, legal experts say this case would be very difficult to win.
“To prove defamation, Bryon must show there was no romantic relationship at all,” one attorney explained. “And in a stadium of 70,000 people with cameras everywhere, it's hard to claim an expectation of privacy.”
Most lawyers see this as a public image rescue attempt more than a viable legal strategy. Coldplay has not commented on the matter.
