iQOO’s product manager, Ge Lan V, announced that the upcoming iQOO 15 will feature Samsung’s cutting-edge “Everest” 2K display, delivering a next-generation leap in screen performance.
According to him, the iQOO 15 is equipped with a true 2K resolution display, far surpassing the 1.5K resolution of Apple’s Pro Max and exceeding the Retina standard. Both static and dynamic visuals appear remarkably sharp, ensuring crystal-clear detail in every frame.
What makes this even more impressive is that the iQOO 15 introduces the most power-efficient 2K screen ever released. Ge Lan described it as possibly the best smartphone display of the coming years.
The panel features industry-leading light-emitting technology, achieving a first-frame brightness ratio of 98.1%—well above the Android average of 80% and even higher than the iPhone Pro Max’s 96.69%. This eliminates ghosting in moving text and images, delivering ultra-smooth clarity whether you’re reading, gaming, or scrolling short videos.
Equally significant, the iQOO 15’s 2K Everest display consumes 40% less power than even the iPhone 16 Pro Max’s 1.5K panel. The result is a screen that’s not only brilliantly vivid and fluid, but also highly efficient—setting a new benchmark for mobile displays.
At its core, the iQOO 15 will be among the first smartphones powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen5 platform, featuring two ultra-large cores and six large cores, with the ultra-core clocking at 4.61GHz. It also integrates the Adreno 840 GPU, now enhanced with a 16MB independent cache for superior graphics performance.
The official debut is scheduled for October, marking one of the most anticipated flagship launches of the year.
