(Hong Kong, Feb 10) — Veteran Hong Kong actor Cheung Kwok Keung, now 68, has been actively reinventing himself since becoming a free agent after his contract with TVB ended last year. In addition to acting, commercial appearances, and livestream sales, he has embraced mainland China’s social media culture by joining platforms such as Douyin and Xiaohongshu, successfully transforming into a content creator by sharing behind-the-scenes stories from his acting career and everyday life.
Unbeknownst to many, Cheung is approaching 70. In a recent video, he talked about his fondness for taking public buses so he can enjoy the scenery along the way. When an assistant mentioned that someone wanted to offer him a seat, Cheung declined with a smile, saying his physical condition is excellent and standing for the ride posed no problem at all.
His impressive condition is the result of consistent training. A former football player, Cheung has shared workout clips showing himself in a vest and shorts performing high-intensity exercises in a park, including step drills, bunny hops, and high-knee runs. He even demonstrated inverted sit-ups while hanging upside down, all without breaking a sweat. With clearly defined arm and leg muscles, his fitness level has left many viewers amazed.
